The Design House is the vision of Asma El Husseini. With a strong background in design, a heritage in textiles, and a passion for creativity, Asma found the need to help fashion & interior designers fulfill their textile dreams. The Design House was launched in 2014 providing the first digital printing textile services in Egypt. As creative director & print designer with over eight years of experience designing and printing print concepts for high-end Egyptian fashion & interior brands, The Design House quickly gained popularity for being the hub for a creative textile outlet.

 

 Asma combines hand-drawn images with a collage of digital inspiration, the knowledge of the latest trends to create original seasonal collections, catered uniquely for each client. Working closely with each client we take great care in being part of the process from inspiration to producing high quality digitally-printed fabrics that the client had envisioned for their collection.

 

The Design House is located and part of Modern Kobba, one of the textile factories of Kobba Group. With a design team, fabric experts, pre and post-treatment options, a well equipped lab, technical textile engineers and a strong research & development department, The Design House stands out from a regular digital printing service.
